Worship: Why do we sing? (Jillian Reay-Smith, 9 July 2023)

We take a moment to ask a practical question: why do we *sing*? We know worship is more than singing, so why do we spend time singing together? Because we’re told to, it declares who God is, it engages us in a unique way, and it unifies us!(Apologies, the first few minutes of this talk are missing from the recording! This included acknowledging that not everyone can physically sing, and how that does not necessarily mean they can’t ‘join in the song’).
