Worshipping God with the Ordinances - November 23 2025

Worshipping God with the ordinances begins with a simple yet profound truth. God has given baptism and communion as gifts that reveal His grace and call His people to respond with faith and devotion. These are not empty rituals. They are moments in which believers meet God through symbols that point to real salvation and real fellowship with Christ.Baptism is an act of worship because it declares that Jesus has saved us and that our lives now belong to Him. When a believer goes into the water, it is a humble expression of repentance, trust, and new life through the risen Lord. It is a public proclamation that God has acted with power and mercy, and the believer responds by giving God glory.Communion is also an act of worship because it brings the church together at the table of the Lord. In the bread and the cup, we remember the sacrifice of Christ and celebrate the covenant that He established through His blood.
