Worst First Date Ever

First dates are awkward.  Really almost any first is awkward.  Doesn't matter if it's a date, first day on the job, first day at school, whatever.  The first time you do just about anything it's incredibly awkward and almost never goes the way you intend it to go. Yet that's how life is, right? No matter how much we prepare, firsts rarely go the way we've imagined they would.  Now, you could let the experience crush you or you could roll with the punches, live out the "it is what it is" philosophy, find the silver lining, and take it as a learning experience...and possibly a great story. Tonight we talk about what was my most awkward first date ever. It involves two states, almost a full year from hello to date, seven people, and a station wagon.
