Podcast Episode #83: Worst Intro Ever
from Stolendroids Podcast · host Stolendroids Media
Our latest podcast starts a little slow, but I think we make up for it! We're back to a full team and ready to pick apart Apple's newest releases, RIM's latest breakup, and Superman becoming much more realistic. Feedback: Guys, Twitter blocking a feed has nothing do to with the First Amendment of the US Constitution - even if they blocked a US feed. The actual text of the first amendment is ... Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances. It does not say ... Twitter shall make no law [take no action?] ... abridging the freedom of speech. So - twitter is 100% free to do what they please with regards to the first amendment. Twitter is providing a service and if they want to remove the service to a select or group of individuals - fine by me. To me, free speech without consequence (ie your comment re trolls in real life) is just as bad as I am just removing your right to free speech (wasn't it you guys that talked about the troll that had is real life name and address publicly exposed?). Cheers, Ruff Headlines: Superman comic loses the most unbelievable part of the story. Apple's rubber-banding isn't so special after all! US Border Patrol bars RIM from entry. Sorta. Under cover of Apple, Zynga shuts down some studios Apple is crazy-go-nuts! (new 13” MBP, skinny imac, another ipad, and expensive mini ipad) Amazon earns $13.81 Billion. Loses $274 Million Talking point: Cyber warfare is hitting close to home. Valve's Steam service could be opening you to hackers Your Facebook data has just been bought from some guy for $5. Zuke’s Favorite: Even the shuttle Endeavour has a sense of humor Zohner’s Favorite: THIS! Schmidty’s Favorite: Largest Zoomable image of our Galaxy Stark’s Favorite: Dice Rings.....yes please
