WOS Episode #33 Art mends hearts

from Woman of Strength Podcast

Susan Greif is an interpreter of creativity, (Mind Detective), a speaker, author and an illustrator and owner of Art Mends Hearts, LLC.  Susan uses the expressive, creative and healing arts to help individuals deal with trauma. Her unique multidisciplinary approach helps her clients find emotional freedom from anxiety, depression, anger, grief, loss, illness, pain, eating disorders, social behaviours and learning disabilities. She harnesses the power of creative expression to help her client release old stuck energies that keep them feeling paralyzed, panicked, powerless and in pain and propels them to move forward and reach their goals.  Susan believes that in order to move beyond trauma, individuals must address their physical, emotional and overall well-being. This can be accomplished by creating awareness, making a commitment to self-exploration, bringing the unconscious to the conscious and creating clarity. Susan interprets these expressive arts and helps bring the subconscious to awareness quicker than talk therapy. It makes thoughts and emotions more perceptible and tangible. This way those exposed to trauma can begin to restructure their thoughts and learn necessary coping skills so they can heal quicker and move forward to living a happier, healthier, and more balanced lifestyle. In addition, Susan is on the advisory team in the Healing Arts genre for Change Your Attitude Change Your Life (https://cyacyl.com). She writes monthly articles for 24/Seven Digital Magazine and is heard monthly on iHeart Radio and AM970 The Answer's "Conversations with Joan." Susan is a member of the Speaker Salon, curated by Tricia Brouk.  Susan works privately with individuals, businesses and organizations. Her programs and workshops are customized to fit the needs of individuals, groups, and small and large audiences.
