WOS Episode #39 From Abuse to Bliss

from Woman of Strength Podcast

Heather Higinbotham-Davies is a writer, rekindled poet, TEDx speaker, bridge builder and an eco-warrior. She believes in the power of community and the inherent goodness of people. She has an intense love affair with learning and more books than she can ever hope to read. Heather is a recovering people pleaser, compulsive learner, and proud imperfectionist. She is literally writing the book on being an environmental hypocrite. She secretly dreams of being a Cirque du Soleil aerial dancer, though she is not particularly flexible or graceful. When she’s not busy helping women to own their awesomeness or saving the planet, she can usually be found adventuring with her precocious kid and pirate husband, sleeping, soaking in hot springs, drinking tea, writing poetry, geeking out on sustainability and trying to make the world a better place. Heather was in an abusive relationship and then after many years and lessons learnt she met her ideal man
