According to information, Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi informed the presidencies and political leaders during the second meeting of the National Dialogue, which was held on September 5, 2022, of his intention to visit the United States on September 26. A participant in the meeting, he said, "A proposal was made to Mustafa Al-Kazemi, not to visit and send someone on his behalf, because of the possibility that the Tishrinists and the Sadrist movement would hold demonstrations, but Al-Kazemi told the gathering: It is important that I be present there."
