WOTS Version 197 with Velvet Jupiter
from Word On the Street Hosted by theZim
On this Word On the Street podcast we talk with the band Velvet Jupiter. Dave Cook, Michael Knapp, Jon Heintz, and Miles Hubbard talk about the way they have been handling the pandemic and how they have maintained being a band during it. We talked about their new EP and their plans to put out more music. They also shared their thoughts around the best ways to put out music, including the success they have found on Bandcamp. I also asked for their reflections on the Black Lives Matter protests and CHOP in Seattle. I hope you enjoy this conversation as much as I did. *The conversation with Velvet Jupiter starts at 9:56 Featured music: "Dirty Water" by Velvet Jupiter off Velvet Jupiter "Doom" by Velvet Jupiter off Velvet Jupiter Learn more here: https://velvetjupiter.bandcamp.com/ You can find, subscribe, rate, and review the podcast on Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts and Spotify.
