WOTS Version 213 with Dan Ray
from Word On the Street Hosted by theZim
On this version of the Word On the Street podcast we talk with Dan Ray of Dan's Tunes. Dan tells us all about her music journalism website "Dan's Tunes". Before we get into that conversation I asked Dan about her relationship with social media and which platform she is most likely to doom scroll on. We also talked about how the pandemic and the fight for social justice during 2020 effected the content on Dan's Tunes as well as her personal life. Dan also gave us some suggestions, and tips on what musicians can do for their music from the perspective of a music journalist. I hope you enjoy this conversation as much as I did. The conversation with Dan starts at 6:00 Featured Music: "Louder (Black & Proud)" by Marshall Law Band off 12th & Pine "B.Y.O.G." by David's Van off Intervention Learn More Here: https://danstunesseattle.com/ You can find, subscribe, rate, and review the podcast on Apple Podcasts.
