Would Our Forefathers Be Ashamed of How We're Handling Trump?
from The Renegade Writer's Mouthy Musings · host The Mouthy Renegade Writer
Do you think our forefathers would be proud of the effort we’ve given as a nation in stopping Traitor Trump and his band of criminal shitiots?I tend to think, “No.” I don’t feel we’ve done nearly enough compared to the efforts of those who lived during the time of George Washington, John Adams, Ben Franklin, Thomas Jefferson, or Patrick Henry. I feel that we’ve gotten too soft over the past 250 years. We’re not built the same as those early patriots. We aren’t going to rid ourselves of Trumpism by posting Internet memes.I talk about this in today’s podcast episode. I’d love to hear your thoughts about what we should be doing, as citizens, politicians, lawyers, and judges. Whatever we’re doing isn’t working. Or it’s taking far too long to see results.I hate that. We have to step this up while we still can. Things can end up really bad, worse than they are right now. This fascist bullshit has to end.© 2026 The Mouthy Renegade Writer.
