Whilst it is a big thing in my religion, it is something that is not compulsory. As I am getting older, marriage is something I have to look at and take into consideration. In doing so, there are so many factors to consider. My religion states I can marry any race but whilst the religion says one thing, people practice their own due to their cultural stance. This can be quite difficult as sometimes, you might not get accepted by the family of the person you want to get married to. It is a big SHAME!! This is something that I didn’t put at the back of my mind before but it is definitely an area I need to start to consider. In saying this, I can see why people marry their own culture as this makes certain things easier in terms of practices in their culture as the other person already understands. This video is just to make you think and look at things from both sides as it is important to be objective. I like to be aware of things in order to make an informed decision and be sure I know what I am getting myself into. By doing that will mean, I will accept whatever consequences that comes with it.
