Wounded Healer by Kai-Anne Clews

from Original Christian Poetry · host Kai-Anne Clews

And one came asking “Where is my Lord? Is He with the teachers, Far abroad?” Someone said, “But the Lord is near, He is not far He did not disappear.” “Then where shall I find Him? Where can I look, Tell me where is my Master, Which route hast He took? “He is with the lost and the lonely, At the dry gates of the city, Hit sits with those, for who, The world has no more pity. Wounded by our lack of love, Our Master also thirsts and suffers, With all our other wounded, As He loves them like a mother. As so He calls us to be – Wounded healers And be set free Through our pain and passion be – An imitation of Majesty.
