Wrap It Up

Marty Wallace had a day job as a music teacher at the University of Colorado. He often invited his students to attend band rehearsals and offered them extra credit. One of the go-to songs he had students learn was "Wrap it Up," which he appreciated for its straightforwardness. But Brian hated the song because of its simplicity. Despite his reservations, Marty talked Brian into taking on the challenge of putting his own spin on it. Written by Isaac Hayes and David Porter, as performed by the Fabulous Thunderbirds. Recorded at the Telluride Blues & Brews Festival in Telluride, Colorado.
