Wretched Man (Romans 7)
from But Servants · host Tim Nicholls
What is the place of the law in the life of the Christian? Many Christians observe a legalistic form of Christianity, where the emphasis is on the rules that we must follow to be a 'good' Christian. Is it something that we should be struggling to obey? Is it something we can obey? Or should we be focussing somewhere else? That is the key issue in Romans 7. This sermon was preached at Subang Jaya Gospel Centre on 25th August 2024. Introduction: Legalistic Christianity Context 1. We are no longer under the law (1–6) 2. Objection 1: Is the law sin?
