This episode marks an important moment for this podcast as I begin Season 2. So it is only fitting to start the new season right where this all began. I’ll be at Discover Austin visiting with Nancy Schnable and her special guest Steve Kime, a member of the Pillars of the Community Committee. We talk about the beginnings of the Pillars program, this year’s honorees, and how to nominate someone as a pillar of the community.Then I visit with Meredith Maloney, office manager and naturalist at the Jay C. Hormel Nature Center. We learn all about Dammen Days and how you can head out to the Nature Center, have some fun and support the mentorship program at Nature Center.I will also visit with Steve Barrett at the Austin Area Foundation.
