Wright State Golf Season Ends with Honor

Wright State’s golf team capped off a historic season with a thirteenth-place finish at the NCAA Columbus Regional, led by standout Timmy Hollenbeck’s career-best tie for 27th. The Raiders clinched their tenth Horizon League title—tying the league’s all-time record—thanks to Shane Ochs’ dominant individual win and seven top-five finishes across 11 tournaments. Coach Conner Lash earned his third straight Horizon League Coach of the Year award, while Ochs and Hollenbeck were named Golfer of the Year and All-League First Team, respectively. In the regional’s final round, the team shot seven-over-par, with Hollenbeck surging 23 spots after an even-par 71. Senior Shane Ochs closed his collegiate career tied for 41st, while Adam Horn, Ian Asch, and CJ Scohy also played their final rounds—marking the end of an era for Wright State golf.
