Can Romance and Culture connect? Romance in Colour is starting a new series, where we talk to authors of color from various backgrounds and locations,  who are writing in the romance genre. We are highlighting the diversity of the genre and highlighting #Ownvoices with authors who are actively working to amplify writing that is unique, diverse, and most of all, romantic. First in our series is ex-pat and Francophile, Gia de Cadenet. We talk all things romance including crafting a romance novel, the rigors of the publishing process, and the intersection of culture and the genre. She also gives us a little insight into her own life in France and how a chance meeting at a pub watching Rugby lead to her own "meet-cute" with her personal Prince Charming.  :) NOTE: Due to the connectivity issues, there may be some overlap of dialogue.
