WRR101 Focus on the Arts: Chamber Mus. Soc. FW welcomes a Cliburn champ for season finale

In a recent podcast conversation, WRR host Brooke Scholl speaks with Chamber Music Society of Fort Worth Artistic Director and violinist Gary Levinson about the ensemble’s May 9 season finale and the return of pianist Vadym Kholodenko to Fort Worth—an artist whose 2013 Van Cliburn International Piano Competition victory cemented his deep connection with the city’s musical community. Levinson offers insight into the collaborative spirit behind the program at the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth, which features a new trio by living composer Ed Green alongside cornerstone chamber works by Johannes Brahms and César Franck.
