So much has transpired in the past 24 hours and I can only imagine what else will take place between now and the next Withstand Podcast. The fallout from the global Microsoft outage – the largest in human history – continues, Biden is set to step down as early as this weekend (and perhaps already has, as we go to air). There’s been rioting in London and closer to home, it seems that every other night there are teenagers running riot across metropolitan suburbs and fires being lit at small business premises and people’s homes.What is going on?! It’s so hard to keep up with chaos. It’s so hard to make sense of the fact that superficially, our world appears to have no Plan B; no succession plan for when man-made plans fail. From American Politics to IT Infrastructure, how is it possible that we don’t install measures that allow us to keep one, two, even three steps ahead of the curve?
