WSD | Why God's protection means more than any Digital ID or Bill; Psalm 18 and Luke 18

G'day fellow Withstanders,I don’t know about you but since a certain pandemic took place four years ago, whenever I hear the authorities say that they’re doing this or that for our protection, I get a little suspicious…I look a little like the side-eye emoji I’ve used with sheer abandon in recent years. Especially when I believe there are people and situations that desperately need actual protection from harm. We’ll take a look at some of the most recent headlines from around the globe and do a slightly deeper dive into a couple of ways Australia and America are, in my view, creating problems that don’t need solutions, thereby misusing the true definition of ‘protection’. We’ll also reflect on the only protection that truly matters for us believers, and that’s God’s protection.
