Weekly Song Post mailing list: http://eepurl.com/bcruFT Website: http://www.jonburks.com/ lyrics: I been writing more than I been living I been talking to myself more than anybody else it's an odd inclination I been given love the alone time, live for the song I been thinking, lord I been thinking round and round these walls my thoughts scramble and crawl the only time my soul is calm completely is when my head is empty and there's room for the song it's all been sung and done before I know stronger hands than these have crafted finer works of prose this light aint the brightest but it shines love the limitations, live for the rhyme I been dreaming, baby I been scheming thought maps on the ceiling, post-its on the cabinet doors let this be my tombstone when I'm gone die when you have to, live for the song words and music by Jonathan Burks contact: [email protected]
