WSU Theatre and Dance: The Moors

from Art Beat · host KQAL 89.5FM

Today on Art Beat, we talk to some of the cast from the WSU Theatre and Dance Departments presentation of The Moors, directed by Jim Williams. Williams describes the play as “Wuthering Heights gone rogue”. The play, which draws inspiration from Wuthering Heights and Jane Eyre, takes us on a darkly strange journey through themes of love, desperation and much more. Today, we hear from 5 of the cast members, Christina, Aiden, Darian, Miranda and Vicks; who give us the dirt on this dark journey without giving too much away. I’m Bill Stoneberg, stick around as we get a sneak peak at the Winona State University Theatre and Art Departments production of The Moors, today on Art Beat. Original air date: 10/12/21 Art Beat is written and produced by KQAL on the campus of Winona State University and is made possible by the Minnesota Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
