Michael Finkel is an award winning journalist and best selling author. His work has taken him to some far flung corners of the world and led him to some of the most incredible stories of the past 30 years. We talk to Mike about his two non-ficton books, 'The Stranger in the Woods' and 'True Story'.  The Stranger in the woods tells the story of Christopher Knight, a hermiit who left everything he knew behind and went to live in a forrest in Maine. He Remained in there in his own splendid isolation for over 25 years.  True Story tells the distressing tale of Christian Longo. A man accused of the horrific murders of his wife and three young children fled the country and was arrested in Mexico, where he was pretending to be Michael Finkel, a reporter for The New York Times. True Story was made into a major motion picture starring Jonah Hill & James Franco.
