WWE Backlash Backs Up The Draft
from The Express with Bilal Vakani
SiriusXM Canada’s Senior Producer of Podcast Operations and Host of The Bilal Vakani Hour on SiriusXM 167 Canada Talks and Daniel Shehori preview WWE Backlash. Cody Rhodes vs. Brock Lesnar. How much better would this program have been if Cody was undisputed champion? Bad Bunny vs. Damian Priest (San Juan Street Fight). This could be the main event and should be a speculator. SmackDown Women's Champion Rhea Ripley vs. Zelina Vega. Zelina seems to have no chance of winning this belt but at least they could get the crowd behind her in her home country. Would of worked better if she went on a win streak before or won a dramatic #1 contender match. Matt Riddle and Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn vs. The Bloodline. Is this the path to Riddle vs Roman again or The Usos vs Roman. Raw Women's Champion Bianca Belair vs. IYO SKY. The Raw Women’s title is contested by two superstars now on Smackdown. United States Champion Austin Theory vs. Bobby Lashley vs. Bronson Reed. Reed could have brought the US title back to Raw if only Gunter wasn’t drafted there and not defending his belt. Seth "Freakin" Rollins vs. Omos. What is the story behind this match? Does WWE understand what free agency even means? And a look back at the draft.
