You summed it up on Twitter when you said what was it you said that it was a Excellent. Yeah, so the standard of the quality of the match is fantastic, but nothing happens. Yeah, no That's the thing absolutely nothing to speak of but we knew what we were going to we knew it was if we've done that thing I mentioned on the last show where we read too much into it We expect too much and we should just take it for our first thoughts on it when we said oh, so they're televising a live show And we should have just enjoyed it. I mean, I know we did it's great show I think there was an expectation there that you know there'd be some something would come out of it and my expectation I thought and so big cats would win Because it just seemed like the right time I don't know and it was the right kind of show but we just got written some repeat of the London I'm just a segue off.

I G So going following on Twitter and he sports there is some great moments even without title changes However, I disliked the fact that Calisto didn't defend his title a point because I love Calisto Calisto is obviously on the other side of the show with the O-ins is in the fucking AJ Styles is I Had my match got it. Um, but yeah, yeah, I think he's some sort of quite well there actually is great moments even without the title changes Um, I was just I just needed one though. Yeah, I didn't have to be a title change Just one surprise one thing that you weren't expecting something to make it quite excited Yeah, but no, I mean it was what it was it was literally was a live show. It was a roadblock It was a roadblock.
Yeah, no, it was a live show and we you know, we we picked it up and put it on the network We picked it up and maybe it was our trial run technology wise for WrestleMania. Just make sure the stream works Yeah, I think there's quite a lot to that I think because the last couple of paper views of Fastlane Royal Rumble. There's been it's been lag central. Yeah, you've asked reset it I personally didn't have any problems with it up until the main event the main event got tiny bit laggy Yeah, tiny bit behind at times, but then he saw sort of yourself out towards the end of the thankfully so I didn't miss anything But yeah, I just wanted one thing and all the good on was just done it like a match announcement Like a WrestleMania match announcement because we don't know too much of the card yet So I wanted something sitting stone like title change hands doesn't do well the way we'll get to Ambrose triple agent a bit And what we thought about that, but yeah, I thought there was gonna be something that would sort of see the cap towards a match for WrestleMania Like a bit of a glorified roar, but it wasn't even a glorified roar.
It was just a great wrestling show. Yeah, which is you know, it's highly enjoyable Yeah, definitely But yeah, I mean like I thought so the pop ends on big cast got oh, it's right. Oh, it's brilliant Like you know Vince's at a big backstage of that. So surely now he's seen you know, that's why Maybe they lost because they're coming up and they just want to see make sure that's my dream anyway As long as they're used properly definitely not halfway through it I was like god, this is exactly the same match for NXT take over London and then they changed the finish slightly Yeah, so it's still a thing where she backs off into Carmella Carmella slaps him then cast jumps in and gets thrown into the circle But then as they go up to get end though He kind of reversed it and carried on for a little bit longer and then the same thing happened anyway But yeah, no, that was such a good match Yeah, oh my god such a good match So the only disappointing match.
So yeah Charlotte and Sally was great as well Zane Zane Stardust was great crowd like seems like I was asleep during that. Oh, it's so strange. I'd like to think we're just in rap shit was aint They were just like, you know, I don't know the all kind of one of it quiet strange I mean, it's the I don't know maybe it's sad also that they don't give a toss about maybe it's just that match They're just like there Maybe I mean because the quality of matches was so high and they were into every match They had to have been a downside at some point. Yeah, and if I was in that crowd was like, yeah Zane's winning this Yeah, I'll cheer at the start.
I'll cheer at the end. Yeah Yeah, so the only sort of disappointment before we talk about the main event was Brock Klezner versus Luke Harper Let's get it right. Yeah, but as the first loop Harper which was interestingly enough It was advertised before they turned it into a roadblock. It was gonna be brought less than Luke Harper And then when he first announced, I was like, oh, yeah, that's a weird one.
Yeah, I was like when I don't know where I was Japan when it was brought less than the versus Kofi Kingston. Yeah, that was like Jesus cry poor Kofi. What's he done? So they changed it into Bray Wyatt Then they changed it on the night into a handicap match which eventually went back to the original plan against Brawlersner Half I got some interesting stuff in at the start But then I think Brock snapped and he went no whoa, no, no, I think he just won What the fuck are they doing with the Wyatt's?
What are they doing with them? They've got such potential I mean, you know, you can't I hate those those like fans. I say, oh, but this guy's got such potential Because everybody's got like 15 of those but yeah, I think it's weird like I was handling them especially in that situation But yeah, it was a good outing for Luke Harper. I bet he's next feeling it today After all them suplexes, I counted seven before I stopped counting So, I mean, I'm triple-a jump rose and I was fucking sitting to me again Every time I got you every time I go into one of these fucking things with a clear head saying, oh, no nothing's gonna change But what I wanted and everybody listens to the last show Can attest to this is what I wanted was a disqualification.
So both guys come out of it looking strong. Yes now We didn't get that but we got a bit of controversy Yeah, and that I don't know how I feel about it because the camera angle I don't care how much they hit it on the camera angle It was clear that his foot was unless he is likes of like the ability to extend then when the camera paned back There's no way his leg was anywhere near the edge of that ring So no wonder the people on that side watch it like seriously, no No, why are you doing this? Yeah, it was really It was annoying. I didn't The only thing I can think of why they did that is to sort of test the crowd to how they would respond to Ambrose winning something because It's I mean and that sounds ridiculous I know but like how I think of any of the reason I know it's a torn the crowd It's the crowds are really dislike triple h because Dean's their hero Reigns needs to needs to be cheered needs to be cheered So the only way that's to happen is for everyone to be like really pissed off the triple h And this is a way to piss everyone off.
It still won't be as we said on our show everyone's still gonna be cheering in it. It's like you're right now Triple H wouldn't get booed at WrestleMania Even if he comes out on Raw and drowns a child in the front row If he picks a kid out the front row and drowns them reigns is still gonna get booed more That all depends on whether the courts will allow triple H to go to WrestleMania But he would fucking he'd literally have to shoot Like a national treasure he'd have to literally have to kill a national treasure to get booed more than range Well, yeah, Vince still play that into a fucking storyline Yeah, it was strange I mean I love false finishes and all that sort of stuff because it gets a crowd we're going mad They were they were the heat was on triple H which is what they wanted. Yeah, well, even the heat being on triple H So like it was the ref the ref was getting all the all the heat there and it wasn't like Because I think that if they wanted the heat to be on triple H The the best thing to have done in that situation was when triple H rolled him up and had his legs on the rope would have that be the free Count yeah, because then the heat would have been on triple H then to some degree I think that what's gonna happen now is as we go to WrestleMania reigns Is gonna be winning it for the honor of his brother Ambrose who should have won You know, he should you know as well as I do triple H You know that my brother Ambrose was the real winner and I'm gonna I'm gonna win that glory for the both of us WrestleMania and that was gonna go yay I don't know how many how many people will be going. Yeah, the only way for him to get gared is if he talks about ambrands It's like the senior effects is like cool barbed iris.
Oh, yeah guys. I'm a Daniel Bryan van too. Yeah I think I can see that happening. I think that that's probably gonna be like Ambrose is gonna be pissed because he's gonna say they want it Reigns is gonna back him up.
He's gonna be going in there fighting for them though fighting for both of them Yeah, I think that's that that's tenuous. Yeah, that brought up the level of vomiting the mouth The point of yeah, that's 100% what'll happen reigns will come out after he's got his nose job And um and say he's doing it for Ambrose. They're fucking cunts Those cunts you can see him coming a mile off can you? I know that's not the case They're desperate.
You ain't gonna get cheered though. I know I know who the fuck after that match because triple H was amazing in it as well I've seen a few people like come on saying like they didn't think triple H did well Triple H was all over it. He was selling ice to the fucking Eskimos on that one. It was really good.
I thought the finish Now for me the finish still should have been a disqualification or some sort of cheat because now Yeah, as I tweeted last night Ambrose versus Lesnar equals piss break because most people are who's believing now that i'm Rose is is gonna be Lesnar You know, he's I mean, I'll see you know people still cheer for him But it's not that level it's the psychological level of over to someone like the Daniel Bryan thing from WrestleMania 30 You know, he was held back and held back and held back and held back and held back but was still strong Yeah, because they were cheating him out of it and Rose didn't get cheated out of it You know, you know, you can say there was controversy with that false finish in a kayfabe way But you know, he's still got pedigree and he's still got pinned one two three Yeah, it should to me that role with his feet on the ropes should have been the finish there because you then both guys look strong The crowd are still going mad because now triple H is just one like seconds after it cost it. You know, yeah, yeah But yeah, there's not really too much else to say It seems that we've been changed. There's not I mean that's the thing we were joking earlier before we started the show of like, oh, maybe we'll you know I think we've talked about roadblock. We'll talk about the implications.
It's comfort for WrestleMania And it's like it hasn't on it because nothing happened. So it's we're in a no different position I mean apart from obviously it was it was decided about you know, reigns versus triple H. Yeah, WrestleMania There's no there's no implications at all to it. It was a glorified house show.
Yeah, I mean, here's the question for you then so It's been announced that they're gonna do one of these types of specials in London. Yes, which we've been like, oh, let's get to you Yes, which we will try to tomorrow Anybody on O2 in the UK get on it. Oh, two priority, baby. Yeah But so I quite like the fact that they televised it.
Yeah, I think it was a technical run for the network beforehand just to see if You know, if it was gonna if it's gonna handle it also I think it's a bit on ticket sales as well because I don't think any of the live events really sell out anymore Whereas it looked like a sellout after it got announced. It was gonna be like a paper view type thing So it makes no odds to them I think to walk a few cameras in there because he didn't do anything with the with the tikotron the entrance was all the same as any sort of live event You know, does that boot the ticket sales a bit and they just and they literally just Uh, basically broadcast that live show like you know that boot sat ticket sales for that so they get a little bit more um Interesting that I've been uh, yeah, it's a strange one because my my knee jerk reaction And I think I mean there was some fucking moron saying that we're gonna cancel the network and watch it While they were eating Cheetos in their john cena t-shirt You know, it's like oh my god. They don't listen to us. They don't listen to us get The payoff for Ambrose winning the tiles gonna be huge because he's getting held back the same way Daniel brian did so this time next year WrestleMania, you never know it could be Ambrose Rawlings for the title Um, yeah, so does it hurt him though?
So like this so these like roadblock events things like that You know, does it kind of because i'm thinking like if they're in a boardroom situation, it's like, okay Nothing happened and like said said on a switch we didn't need to see it It wasn't necessary for us to see it so usually when we watch any ww Programming it is necessary to see it because something yeah, I guess um gets done But because this wasn't necessary, you know I'm thinking how long are these things gonna last because if they if they just like televising something that doesn't matter You know, does it warrant them putting the effort into televising it? That's kind of what i'm thinking I think it's another way to try and sell the network that's a little bit different Yeah, and if they are ever planning, I mean there was a couple of rows ago where everything kind of went a bit extreme Um, and we would say the astudera possibly not the astudera is going back But you know, it seems like maybe they're taking a few more chances being a bit less PC But less aimed at kids maybe they're shifting a little bit towards the adult audience When Vince romances like a shade you gotta get a fucking beat it That Remember where you are That's not Um So as opposed if they wanted to do more adult esque shows They've got the network because there's no thing used to answer to no network to answer to so it can do a lot of test Rums on there without kind of having to answer to appetizers and things because if you think about say you want to do You want to take a bit of a chance and you go do you know what? We would really really really like the next tape of you not pay for you on raw We are going to put um, this women's triple threat on no, you don't know whether the networks go Well, we know that people switch off at women's matches and our your appetite We're advertising at the end of that and we want the most so we'd recommend you not do that We'd recommend you put them on for ultimately so you don't know how much they're going to be bullshit But it sounds like something that a corporal do yeah Well, you want to have the most viewers when you're at first going to be on and if you're spending money with them consistently You're going to be involved in some way you want to take away the show works, but you can suggest and you can say well, you know What's what's what's on what's the match where my avocs show? Yeah, yeah, and they go oh, it's this and they go really so good point Putting more things on the network really freeze them for us They can take more chances because what they want honest the main event They can start the show with whoever they can whoever on they like they could have a female only one if they wanted to yeah Yeah, we've been saying this one and ages like absolutely They can put on and it will get you know people are going to watch it because the network's great But it sometimes is you feel a little bit like it's starved of some content that isn't old content So you know, you can go back into you know the vault and you can find whatever you want But that's for like new lives, so because we don't get raw on there for a really long time anyway It's you don't have much by the way of you know anything kind of exclusive or even anything to keep track of what's going on before major Paper views it's like we can do we use fucking shite.
I've never watched it. Oh, it's like a half an hour show It's like all dates you on the week, but it's like Scott stands, but nothing against Scott Stanford I think he's great, but it's so boring. It's just like really quick courts of things like is Ambrose gonna be triple H's ro Block Absolutely, but yeah, it's a bit more free in for them to take chances and they can test it They can see drop off points. They can do a lot of test work like you know You're a bee testing in in your marketing speaking all about where you send out one email that's blue and color and one email That's why it you see which one gets the most opens they can try to show them there anything fail It's not that big a deal because there's no network I mean it can't take the content that's I mean it's a really interesting point I'm interestingly aloft and I'm speaking so you directly lock a talk do as a favor or anybody of our American listeners Have a look to see because usually because I look at the views come a bit nerdy as far as like figures goes and my Attendances and all sorts of goes usually the most views happen in the first half of the show Mm-hmm, I mean then it normally drops off a little bit not by a lot But by a couple hundred thousand by the end of drop off it would be interesting to know what the adverts are at the start And what the other thing at the end yeah after after say the total divas match if they go to adverts What is the adverts?
So it is the first lot like NFL? Yeah, I'm looking Snickers Cheaper brands after the ones that I've paid a little bit less because I'm guessing it's the networks that get paid for the advertising in those Specific slots, so maybe if there is like a total divas match and then they cut to commercial break And it is slightly cheaper brands. Maybe they do sell those slots off cheaper Yeah, so okay, we'll have four million viewers at this stage. You're gonna pay all's You know five grand another per show per slot you've got But when it goes down to three point seven it's foreground or you know You ask if you're spending that man, wouldn't you say if you sell it's gonna cost this much you go hang on a minute Is it gonna cost am I paying the same I could be on at the end you're telling me it's random I could be on at the end where someone paying the same as me on it start and there's People of course they'll know they'll have a breakdown of every ad break and how many people usually are watching So it will it will shape some things in some ways because that's right because now you I've started thinking about it gets more and more Interesting that and this might be boring.
I know yeah So like so Cilla comes out he does a promo the introduces match then they cut to break Jeremy that's normally the formula that I say so yeah, and they've got three hours I mean the got three hours of this an awful lot of ad space to sell and you should see the same adverts repeated Maybe that's the thing maybe they'll sell it as your adverts will go on raw. Yeah, where you going it is where you going it Yeah, if you do that for as luck at all just have a lot to see which type of ads are going on even if you know Just do it for us Yeah, yeah, so all in all robot great show and interestingly enough no seen a no rains And you know you still got really everybody has said the matches were fantastic. Nothing happened. That is a tiny tweak That's literally a tiny tweak like oh something could happen the next two tuck the entire time It's gonna change sounds the main event could have gone a little bit differently It was the wrestling that was good.
Yeah, and that is what brings us as a collective I think people who listen to the show probably back to the product so like the storylines are a good sort of secondary thing Yeah, but yeah all the matches were great, but it was a glorified house show So let's finish the show as we always do with the RTM at pole and in the last hour We've had 87 votes Which is amazing.
