WWE SmackDown on 5/22/26 was a very strong show, folks. Big stars, big angles, big drama. Rhea Ripley kicked things off and immediately made it clear that Jade Cargill and her crew had made a major mistake. Then you had Charlotte Flair, Alexa Bliss, Fatal Influence, and later Jade and the Baddies creating absolute chaos in the women’s division. Tremendous mess, and I mean that in a good way.Talla Tonga beat Shinsuke Nakamura, Tiffany Stratton retained the Women’s U.S. Title in a match that did not exactly blow the doors off the place, Trick Williams and Carmelo Hayes reminded everybody they’ve got real chemistry in a great U.S. Title match, Damian Priest battled Solo Sikoa, and Cody Rhodes vs. Sami Zayn gave us a strong main event with Gunther lurking like a complete menace.In this review, I break down every match, every segment, what worked, what didn’t, and why this felt like a loaded SmackDown with multiple stories moving at once.
