Folks, SmackDown out of Boston was one of the best shows of the year, and nobody breaks it down like I do, believe me. Let's get into every single moment.We opened with GM Nick Aldis telling WWE Women's Champion Chelsea Green, fresh off a broken orbital bone, that medical wouldn't clear her and she had to relinquish the title. Green delivered a genuinely emotional promo about every hardship and embarrassment she's suffered over the years, saying every night she believed it would be worth it once she became champion. She told Aldis she thought HE of all people would understand, and left the belt in the ring. Aldis stopped her — said as GM he was doing his job, but as a person he didn't give a damn what medical thought. He gave her 30 days to get cleared and declared the title was hers until somebody physically took it. Tremendous moment, folks. Gunther then walked out demanding answers about Kevin Owens getting added to his SummerSlam match — Aldis fired back that it was actually GUNTHER who got added to KO's match. Gunther mocked Green viciously, Matt Cardona stepped up to defend his wife, Gunther said Cardona would do nothing... and got punched square in the face. Awesome segment.Gunther beat Cardona right after with a low blow reversal into a powerbomb and Boston Crab — fun opener. Nia Jax and Lash Legend then came out threatening Green, and the numbers game overwhelmed Tiffany Stratton trying to make the save.Baron Corbin retained the U.S. Title over Carmelo Hayes with the End of Days — fun match, but Corbin has GOT to get rid of that furry white belt, folks, it doesn't fit him. After the bell, Lil Yachty cracked Corbin with the Trick Stick and Trick Williams finished with the Trick Shot knee.Then the segment of the year — CM Punk and Kevin Owens, face-to-face in Boston, twenty years of real bitterness on full display. Owens told the story of Punk berating him in an indie locker room. Punk said being hated by losers is the price of not being one. Owens called Punk a phony who only came back because he had no choice. Punk called Owens wasted potential, a bum, and said "I called out Oba Femi and got endometriosis instead." Owens brought up Goldberg's spear ending Punk's — wait, HIS — last title reign; Punk brought up Roman's spear ending Punk's WrestleMania. Neither man threw a punch. Seven days to Toronto, folks. Tremendous television.Tama and Talla Tonga, with Haku, won the WWE Tag Team Championships in a triple threat with the Brother's Keeper double powerbomb. Jacy Jayne beat Tiffany Stratton for the Women's U.S. Title after Stratton's costly dive onto Fallon Henley and Lainey Reid left her open to the Rolling Encore.And the main event, Cody Rhodes vs. Sami Zayn, never happened — Randy Orton jumped Cody from behind before the bell, and they brawled through the entire arena with steel steps, garbage cans, and a drink to the face, until road agents finally stopped Cody just before he could finish Orton off. Folks, TNA Impact was a genuinely solid show, and nobody breaks it down more honestly than I do, believe me. Let's get into it.We opened with Ricky Sosa against Brian Myers, with Bear Bronson at ringside. Myers threw Sosa back in and stomped him, and then — I have to be honest, folks — my streaming service completely died mid-match. A total disaster of a service. By the time I got it sorted out, Leon Slater had joined Sosa in the ring and Cedric Alexander had joined Bronson and Myers. From what I could piece together, Sosa won. Fun match, teetering on becoming an overbooked mess, but it held together. After the bell, Slater and Alexander started jawing about a match at Lockdown, and Alexander laid out a wild condition: if HE wins, Slater's near-record-breaking X-Division Championship reign — he came one day short of the longest reign ever before losing it to Alexander — gets completely erased from the record books. Slater accepted. Folks, how does that even work? Does Slater have the power to agree to that? Does Alexander have the power to make it happen? Can you just erase history like that, or is it just a blank empty void in the record books? WWE did some weird revisionist stuff with early title reigns decades ago, but this is 2026, folks.Moose came out dressed as Frankie Kazarian for his "Face of the Franchise" speech, stealing Kazarian's scarf and glasses and throwing them to the crowd, leading a "Moose!" chant through every question. Kazarian interrupted, tried the same bit asking for "King," got "Moose" every time anyway, insulted the local food, and got punched for it. He brought up Moose's family and got five across the eyes, swung a stool wildly, and still got speared. Security separated them. Fine segment, nothing offensive, just kind of there.BDE, Rich Swann, and returning Trey Miguel — back from a broken knee courtesy of Mustafa Ali at Rebellion — beat Order 4 quick and fun, Miguel hitting the lightning spiral for the win. After the bell, Special Agent 0 choke-bombed Miguel and Ali demanded more until Jason Hotch ran down to chase them off.M By Elegance beat Indi Hartwell in the Knockouts TV Title Tournament semifinal after the Elayna Black/Xia Brookside brawl spilled out from backstage as a distraction, letting M hit a moonsault for the pin. Folks, what does this company have against Indi Hartwell? The match itself was fine.KC Navarro beat Eddie Edwards after Alisha's shoe distracted the referee — Navarro turned the tables, took the kendo stick away from Edwards, clocked him with it, and hit the Blessing in Disguise just as the ref turned back around. Afterward, The System jumped Navarro until Fabian Aichner, Jada Stone, and Ricky Sosa ran them off. Director of Authority Santino Marella then made it official: a Lethal Lockdown match at Lockdown — Bronson, Myers, Eddie, and Alisha Edwards versus Aichner, Stone, Sosa, and Navarro. Tremendous stakes, folks.And the main event — a VERY good TNA World Heavyweight Championship match. Jeff Hardy hit a perfect Swanton Bomb on champion Nic Nemeth, who kicked out, then countered a Twist of Fate attempt into the Danger Zone and pinned Hardy 1-2-3 — the very first time in his career Nemeth has ever beaten Jeff Hardy. Folks, AEW Dynamite out of Las Vegas was a real mixed bag — some tremendous moments, and some total disasters, and nobody breaks it down honestly like I do, believe me.Will Ospreay opened talking about Arena Mexico lifting his spirits, then got emotional remembering his grandfather passing away last year the same day as Grand Slam — he'll never see him wrestle again, never see him walk Ospreay down the aisle. But deep down, Ospreay knows his grandad would tell him to stop crying and go do a flip. Real moment, folks. He called out Kenny Omega, but got Don Callis instead. Callis ran through his whole history — raising Omega from a five-year-old into "the greatest wrestler in the world," taking credit for screwing Moxley in 2020, and reminding everyone he stabbed Omega in the face back in 2023. Said both men owe him everything. RPG Vice, Jake Doyle, and Mark Davis jumped Ospreay from behind until Omega's music hit — he cleared the ring with a pipe, then lectured Ospreay instead of hitting him, calling him a "sloppy fool." Handshake, no help needed going forward. We've seen this movie before, folks.MJF beat Nick Wayne and Speedball Mike Bailey to claim the #2 Casino Gauntlet spot at All In, tapping Wayne with Salt of the Earth. Great opener. Then MJF grabbed the mic for a TREMENDOUS promo — called himself the One True Champion, buried Andrade as a "gutless worm," and told Omega and Ospreay they better pray they never face him at Wembley.Jay White beat David Finlay clean with a flash Blade Runner — good match, folks.The Trios Title celebration for Hangman Page, Bandido & Brody King turned into a total zoo — Swerve Strickland and Prince Nana interrupted first, then Ricochet and the entire Demand group showed up. Nine, ten guys standing around yelling, nobody looked important. Total mess. New Day's probably jumping in next.Kevin Knight retained the TNT Title over Chris Jericho with a low blow while referee Aubrey Edwards conveniently looked away. A complete disaster of a finish, folks.Kris Statlander squashed Viva Van, then Mick Foley plugged his ShopAEW shirt, shouted out his daughter Noelle in the crowd, and announced a four-way TBS Title match next week — Maya World defending against Statlander, Shida, and Persephone. Folks, NXT was a mess last night, and I always give you the truth, believe me. Let's get into it.We opened with what was supposed to be Shawn Spears & Lizzy Rain versus The Culling — Izzi Dame and Niko Vance. Spears made this match himself in the warehouse last week because he's still mad about getting kicked out of The Culling, and then he doesn't even show up! Since only Dame and Nico are left in that group, frankly, I think Spears dodged a bullet. Rain got dragged into it because she happened to be standing nearby when the match was made — proving once again that warehouse is the most dangerous place in wrestling to just be standing around. EK Prosper replaced Spears, the mixed tag rules made almost no sense with nobody to properly tag, and Prosper ended up winning with a shining wizard and a beautiful moonsault — a match he was never even supposed to be in. Fun action, total disaster getting there.Before that, Kali Armstrong literally ripped the mic out of Prosper's hands demanding a Women's Title shot. Kelani Jordan said she was next in line, Kendal Grey limped out from Medical carrying a contract, gave Jordan a shot at Heatwave, and then Armstrong punched Grey in the head and she and Jordan beat down poor Wren Sinclair. A total mess, folks.Dion Lennox beat Saquon Shugars lame after his goons put Shugars through the table. Zaria retained the Women's North American Title over Sinclair, but the finish got hijacked by Lennox and Shugars brawling down the ramp — why interrupt THAT match, folks? Mason Rook lost AGAIN, this time to Kam Hendrix via exposed turnbuckle. I'm getting genuinely frustrated with how they're treating Rook.Lucien Price beat Lexis King clean with a nasty one-armed powerbomb — I'm assuming a Speed Title shot is coming.And the main event — Cruz Montana vs. Grayson Waller for the NXT Title #1 Contendership — was actually GOOD, folks. Curb stomp, top rope elbow, a beautiful Spin the Block from Montana. And then ZILLA FATU showed up out of nowhere, Samoan Dropped Cruz, leveled Waller, the ref threw the whole thing out, and Fatu splashed BOTH of them from the top rope. Folks, last week's RAW was one of the best shows of the year. This week? Not the same level, and I always tell you the truth, believe me.We opened with Solo Sikoa standing in the crowd singing the Usos' music — genuinely great moment, tremendous natural charisma from Solo. Jey Uso came out and said the Tribal Chief called the play, time to fall in line. Solo fired back beautifully — did Jey fall in line, or just fall off? Jey won the Rumble, beat Gunther, made the kids happy, and now all of that's gone and it "sucks" to be Jey Uso. Solo said he's not coming back to the Bloodline because he loves where he's at. They agreed to a match — Jey wins, he delivers Solo to Roman. Solo wins, the Bloodline leaves him alone forever. Solo's "Pew!" mock warning shot was tremendous. Crowd, unfortunately, was completely dead.Penta beat Laredo Kid in round one of the Number One Contender's Tournament — winner faces Roman Reigns for the World Heavyweight Title at the Mexico City RAW. Penta Driver, inverted Michinoku Driver from Kid, Kid misses a tornillo, Penta hits the Mexican Destroyer for the pin. Fun opener, folks.Akira Tozawa versus Austin Theory went way too long. If you want to tell the Oba Femi/Bron Breakker story, do it in its OWN segment, don't bury it in a Tozawa match. Theory won, Breakker speared Tozawa, Oba's music hit and he did his FULL entrance instead of saving anybody. Adam Pearce and his gaggle of geeks jumped in before anything could happen. Tremendous staredown, ruined by the geek parade.Stephanie Vaquer addressed the crowd about missing RAW and, mostly, missing watching Judgment Day run from her. Becky Lynch came out, said Liv's reign is dragging the title back to the mid-2000s, but also said Vaquer gets injured too much to deserve a shot — the title's coming back to HER. Liv attacked Becky from behind, Becky blocked the Oblivion and suplexed her. Vaquer and Lynch had another cold staredown. Women's World Title scene is looking great, folks.Big Cass continues to be tremendous — Dragon Lee beat Dominik Mysterio clean, then Cass jumped BOTH Dragon Lee and Je'Von Evans, standing tall over both. Sol Ruca, with mystery partner Iyo Sky, beat Roxanne Perez and Raquel Rodriguez via Soul Snatcher. Fun match.Main event: Jimmy Uso jumped on the apron, Solo accidentally spiked him instead, Jey speared a distracted Solo and hit a top-rope splash for the win. Are we kidding, folks? Solo was FINALLY clicking with the audience on his own natural charisma, and now he goes back to the Bloodline? Folks, SmackDown out of Philadelphia was one of the best shows I've reviewed all year, and nobody breaks it down like I do, believe me.Cody Rhodes opened the show fuming, days removed from Randy Orton costing him at SummerSlam. He called Orton out immediately, and when Randy didn't show, Cody paid a beautiful tribute to the late, great Dory Funk Jr. — a real champion's champion — then brought up finishing the story right here in Philly at WrestleMania 40. He admitted he lost to CM Punk on Saturday, assuming Punk had no idea Orton was involved. The second he said Punk's name, out came the Undisputed WWE Champion himself. Punk said it hurt to even be asked, swore he knew nothing, and offered to go beat Orton up together backstage. Cody declined — he wants Orton alone — and handed Punk the ring.Then Kevin Owens walked out, and folks, what followed was one of the best promo segments in years. Owens said he spent 17 months living with uncertainty from a career-threatening injury, proving people wrong his whole career, and called Punk an "arrogant sociopath" for offering Cody a title shot ahead of him. Punk fired back — he's the Undisputed Champion, and that makes him the Best in the World, and Owens should be grateful, because without Punk he'd be working a 9-to-5 and weekend indie dates. Owens agreed, but said Punk also showed him exactly what NOT to be — a "miserable piece of sh*t" consumed by his own ego. Security had to separate them. Tremendous television.Baron Corbin kept the U.S. Title against Trick Williams by smashing him with the belt — fine match, cheap finish. Chelsea Green's Women's Championship celebration was pure delusional heel gold — thanked herself, thanked Tiffany Stratton, got interrupted by Fatal Influence, and set up a title-for-title tag match. Fatal Influence retained and Chelsea ate the pin — why, folks? Then the Irresistible Forces attacked, and Nia Jax held the Women's Title high.Randy Orton returned to a massive Philly ovation, told Cody he owes him nothing, admitted Cody unleashed the "worst" version of him, and vowed Cody will never be champion again. Cody fired back that he's not the good guy anymore and asked Orton one chilling question: "Who Kills You?"Charlotte beat Jade Cargill in the main event after chaos from Alexa Bliss's return and a Sister Abigail tribute finish. Matt hits the Twist of Fate clean anyway and gets the pin. Fine match, folks, but I am not the biggest fan of this New Hardys act. They're calling themselves The Goats, and it feels like they took every gimmick Matt's ever had and threw it in a blender. Pick one thing and commit, fellas.Heather by Elegance beat Mara Sadé in the Knockouts TV Title tournament. Sadé dropped Heather face-first on the apron — the most "elegant" part of the ring, very funny — hit a dropkick off the stairs, but Heather shoved her off the top and won with a missile dropkick. Vincent opens with "well, we died" — great line, honestly — Dutch says the water reshaped their direction, Vincent says their work bringing out the real Hardys is finished, talks about helping "dying flowers" bloom, ends with "for we are many." So the Lake turned the Righteous into... the Righteous, just slightly nicer? Nothing changed, folks. Folks, AEW went to Mexico City for Grand Slam, and I have to be honest with you — very honest, like I always am — because that's what you deserve. This show was a total mixed bag, and in some places, a total disaster.We opened with Cage & Cope and the Young Bucks against the Death Riders — Moxley, Yuta, PAC, Garcia, with Marina Shafir lurking around. Eight talented people in that ring, and how does it end? A rollup with a handful of tights. That's it. Holy cow, that was bad, folks. One of the worst finishes I've seen for a match with that much star power.The Casino Gauntlet qualifier — Ciampa, Andrade, Komander — was just a bunch of moves, total yawn. Andrade won and grabbed the mic to promise Mexico the World Title. And THEN — MJF's music hit, and he snuck in from the crowd, folks! He took back his Diamond Ring, punched Andrade with it, threw him to the floor, called him trash, called Mexico a "piece of sh*t country," and demanded they cheer him as an American Hero. He buried Kenny Omega's "toy belt," said All In's main event is HIS, and announced he's entering next week's qualifier in Vegas to take his title back. Tremendous promo — honestly the best thing all night.Willow Nightingale & the Brawling Birds beat Mercedes Moné & Divine Dominion with a nice backslide — fun match. Kyle Fletcher retained the International Title against Speedball Mike Bailey with a beautiful top turnbuckle brainbuster — good stuff, actual wrestling. Místico, Jericho & Darby Allin beat the Don Callis Family with a Coffin Drop — lame, just a bunch of moves.Persephone beat Kris Statlander in total chaos — Thunder Rosa's belt got stolen, the ref got knocked out, Hikaru Shida ran in to help Persephone, and a frog splash sealed it. Wild finish, fine match. Then Hangman Page and Brodido became your NEW AEW World Trios Champions, beating The Demand with a buckshot-lariat-assisted Plex. Good stuff!The main event Street Fight, Ospreay vs. Mark Davis, had barbed wire, blood, a Styles Clash, and a Hidden Blade finish — but folks, this company has completely NUMBED me to hardcore matches. Folks, NXT was ON last night, and nobody covers it like we do, believe me. We had some tremendous action, and we had a segment that, frankly, did not hit.We opened with Jaida Parker & Thea Hail taking on Karmen Petrovic & Evolve Women's Champion Nikkita Lyons, with Nattie right there in the corner. Fun opener, great Hart Attack spot from Lyons and Petrovic, but Thea Hail won it with a bottom rope senton — folks, that finisher is LAME. Very weak. After the bell, the heels jumped Parker and Hail, but our girls fought them off. Good match, terrible finisher.Then NXT Champion Tony D'Angelo came out and breathed at the camera for what felt like three minutes before finally addressing Grayson Waller. He called him old news and called out Cruz Montana. But before Montana could arrive, Waller cut him off from that balcony above the wall panel and said anyone who wants his opportunity has to go through HIM first. D'Angelo called him a name I won't repeat, dropped the "panties in a wad" line, and Waller fired back about the "Male NXT" roster and D'Angelo's manhood. Then Montana finally showed up — from the AUDIENCE, folks — so now we've got three grown men negotiating a championship future from roughly forty feet apart in three different directions. D'Angelo finally spoke up for all of us and said none of this matters, just go make the three-way for Heatwave already. They tried to strike lightning twice with this one. It didn't hit.Wren Sinclair kept her Speed Championship against Zaria on a weird time-limit draw, and Zaria punched her out after the bell for good measure.Big title change: Myles Borne & Tavion Heights DETHRONED The Vanity Project for the NXT Tag Team Championships. Borne dumped Baylor over the ropes, Heights leveled Ricky Smokes with an absolutely massive powerslam, 1-2-3, new champions. Pretty good match, tremendous finish.EK Prosper beat Keanu Carver in a match that was clearly killing time while they stripped the ropes for the Underground main event. Fine bout, but that small package finish looked like a total botch, out of nowhere.And the main event, folks — a DAMN GOOD NXT Women's Championship Underground Match. Kendal Grey passed OUT during the fight and nobody was around to stop it. Wren Sinclair — who'd been punched out earlier in the night — came back and woke Grey up. Grey hit a superkick, Vice missed one of her own, and Grey locked in an armbar. The referee woke up JUST in time to see Lola Vice tap. Grey retains. Folks, this was one of the greatest wrestling shows I have ever reviewed, and believe me, I've reviewed a lot of shows. Nobody covers RAW like I do. Nobody.Roman Reigns opened up demanding acknowledgment — the crowd gave him "OTC," very tremendous chant. He ran down his whole résumé: won the Rumble in the desert to "save this place," beat the old man CM Punk, owned the summer, and finally beat hometown boy Seth Rollins — the crowd booed that one, sang Seth's song, very emotional stuff, frankly.Then LA Knight walked out and the place went crazy, bigger than for Roman if you ask me. Knight called Roman a fraud, wants a title shot with no Bloodline "BS," said he'll wait until WrestleMania. Roman mocked his Wal-Mart watch and told him to get to the back of the line. Knight fired back that it took THIRTY-EIGHT people to beat him last time, and he'll smack Roman "back to factory settings." Love this. LA Knight belongs in that main event picture, period.Je'Von Evans beat Ethan Page with a beautiful OG Cutter — then BIG CASS returns out of nowhere and destroys the kid, boot, clothesline, East River Crossing. Brutal.Liv Morgan bragged on herself with the Judgment Day women, then a DQ finish led to BECKY LYNCH's return — she ripped Liv's title reign as the worst ever, and it's not just her, MANY people are saying it. Then STEPHANIE VAQUER returned and wrecked the entire Judgment Day, one against three, all by herself. Lynch and Vaquer stared each other down — big matchup coming, folks.Oba Femi cut a promo with a lot of words that said nothing, frankly — but his staredown with Bron Breakker said plenty. Breakker then speared Joe Hendry nearly in half.Chad Gable got his flowers after ten years, very emotional, and teamed with Penta to beat the Judgment Day.And the main event — Jacob Fatu versus Royce Keys in a Street Fight — an absolute bloodbath. Keys was coughing up blood, chair wrapped around his head, total disaster for him. Then Roman Reigns came out and gave his approval. And the biggest match of the night: CM Punk and Cody Rhodes, a true American patriot, defeated Gunther and Sami Zayn, keeping them far away from the Undisputed WWE Championship match at SummerSlam. We like strong borders around our title matches, folks!Then AEW Redemption 2026 — tremendous energy from bell to bell! Mike Bailey outclimbed Sleepy Jack Perry, The Beast Mortos, Komander, Nick Wayne, and El Clon in a brutal Six-Way Ladder Match to become the #1 contender. The Young Bucks, great businessmen, took down Death Riders Jon Moxley and Will Ospreay. Kyle Fletcher retained the International Championship against Bandido. The Dogs beat the Bang Bang Gang in a wild Double Chain match. Maya World SHOCKED everyone, dethroning Hikaru Shida for the TBS Championship. Cage and Cope held onto the World Tag Team Titles against Claudio Castagnoli and Pac. My friend Chris Jericho, "The Painmaker," destroyed Tommaso Ciampa in a No Holds Barred war. Andrade El Ídolo became the new National Champion. Willow Nightingale captured the Women's World Championship from Thekla — a beautiful moment! And Kenny Omega, a tremendous champion, retained the AEW World Championship against Kevin Knight.Huge night, huge shows. We are making pro wrestling majestic again, one episode at a time. WWE SmackDown 7/31/26 had some big moments, some total chaos, and one women’s match that was booked like an absolute disgrace. In under 10 minutes, I break down Finn Balor opening the show with a strong promo about 2016, Sami Zayn making everything about himself, Gunther storming in like a machine, and Nick Aldis getting dragged into the madness. Tremendous opening, very wild, very hot.We also got Tiffany Stratton & Chelsea Green vs The Baddies, the title-for-title tag match with Damian Priest & R-Truth vs The War Raiders ending in a nothing disqualification, then Tama Tonga, Talla Tonga, and Haku arriving to wreck everybody. That part? Very interesting. Real reset energy.Trick Williams completely cooked Baron Corbin on the mic. Rey Fenix beat J.D. McDonagh in a good AAA Cruiserweight Title match with Dominik Mysterio and Danhausen nonsense on the side. Then Lash Legend vs Giulia got basically no time, and it was one of the most frustrating parts of the whole show. Terrible decision.Finally, Cody Rhodes and CM Punk closed the night with a face-off that should have felt huge, but a lot of it came off like two brothers bickering in the kitchen before finally throwing hands. Maya World retained the TBS Title over Persephone in a match that just did not do much for me, even with Hikaru Shida, Kris Statlander and the kendo stick drama.Willow Nightingale’s AEW Women’s Title celebration should have been a home run, but Mercedes Moné, Divine Dominion and the contract segment made it feel flatter than it should have. Jon Moxley beat Komander for the AEW Continental Title in another match that felt more like a formality than a fight.The Conglomeration lost the AEW Trios Titles to The Demand after total chaos, referee blindness, and a finish that looked ridiculous. Then Kenny Omega and Will Ospreay had a huge face-to-face that was intense, dramatic, and went on forever. NXT was a very strong show, folks. Very strong. Grayson Waller opened the night with an absolutely wild rant that felt like he was ripping into the entire brand, and whether it was a full shoot or not, it got people talking immediately. Lizzy Rain and Izzi Dame had a very good match, Myles Borne and Kam Hendrix had a fun North American Title match, OTM and BirthRight kept the tag scene moving, and Shiloh Hill vs. Tristan Angels delivered as well. Then Cruz Montana came out and gave a passionate promo about rebuilding himself, appreciating TNA, and finally reaching WWE. Big emotion, big moment. Tony D’Angelo stepped in, Grayson Waller attacked, and suddenly you’ve got a hot three-way issue around the NXT Title. Great pacing, strong talking, and a very good close. Raw was a weird show, folks. Very weird. Some parts were strong, some parts were embarrassing, and some parts felt like total amateur hour. The Hell in a Cell weigh-in with Oba Femi, Brock Lesnar, Paul Heyman, and Triple H was bizarre — broken microphones, rent-a-cops, strange setup, and not much payoff. The Vision beat Alpha Academy and still feel fresh, dangerous, and like a real modern act. Je’Von Evans and Rusev had a solid match, Ethan Page got a nice win over Rey Mysterio, and Sol Ruca vs. Raquel Rodriguez was fun with a title change. The Joe Hendry and Danhausen concert? Awful. Total cringe. Dead crowd, second-hand embarrassment, and a mercy killing from Judgment Day and Ryan Garcia. But then the Bloodline-adjacent six-man story finally got interesting with Solo Sikoa, LA Knight, Royce Keyes, the Usos, and Jacob Fatu all colliding in a very strong segment. Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins closed the night with the best thing on the show: a heated face-to-face, real venom, and Seth standing tall again. So overall? Mixed bag. SmackDown was a good show, folks. Nick Aldis and Gunther opened with a contract signing that turned into a tremendous segment — real stakes, strong trash talk, and Gunther powerbombing the boss through the table like a complete maniac. Brie Bella vs. Lainey Reid was way too short, Chelsea Green vs. Kiana James was perfectly fine, and Cody Rhodes calling out CM Punk gave us a solid promo even if it felt a little familiar. Charlotte Flair vs. Nia Jax was basically a rerun of last week’s nonsense, which was ridiculous, but the main event saved things. Damian Priest, Trick Williams, Royce Keys, and Finn Balor had a fun four-way, Jacob Fatu chaos kept things moving, and Finn got a big win to keep his momentum strong. TNA Impact was a mixed bag, folks, but a pretty entertaining one. Moose and Elijah vs. AJ Francis and Frankie Kazarian was fun but way too short, Elayna Black vs. Wendy Choo was getting good until the time-limit draw made everything weird, and The System talked a big game without actually doing much. Mr. Elegance vs. BDE felt like filler, but RIGHTEOUS DELETION was bizarre in that classic Broken Hardys way — goats, Lake of Reincarnation, all of it. Not as effective as years ago, but still memorable. Jada Stone beat Alisha Edwards in a rough one, and then Nic Nemeth vs. KC Navarro absolutely delivered in the main event. Great energy, strong near-falls, and Nemeth retaining with the Danger Zone gave the show a very strong ending. This Dynamite was packed, folks. Packed. Kevin Knight and Darby Allin opened with a fun TNT Title match, Knight retained, and right away AEW started stacking angles on top of angles. Brodido vs. ProtOkada was very good, Andrade kept himself in the title mix, Jay White had a strong match with Clark Connors, and the No DQ Women’s Tag Title match absolutely delivered. That was one of the best things on the whole show. The problem? AEW cannot help itself. Everything turns into another run-in, another confrontation, another pile of bodies, another ten people standing around with belts. The Thekla and Willow face-to-face felt awkward and immature, not nearly as heated as it should have been. Then the main event was fun, chaotic, and classic modern AEW — strong action, too much happening, and a wild closing scene with Kenny Omega getting busted open and Kevin Knight standing tall with two belts. Good wrestling, messy structure, and a show that felt exciting while also feeling overloaded. NXT gave us a pretty strong show, folks. Not perfect, but strong. DarkState beat Saquon Shugars, Noam Dar, and Romeo Moreno in a fun opener, Kendal Grey and Lola Vice set up an Underground title fight with some solid verbal tension, and Jaida Parker vs Nattie was very good even if the towel finish was bizarre. Keanu Carver kept looking like a beast, Shawn Spears stole one from Niko Vance with classic nonsense, and Reina Volcan made a memorable debut even if I’m not in love with that finisher. Then the main event delivered: Tony D’Angelo and Naraku had a good street fight, Tony retained, and just when you thought the show was over — boom — Mike Santana walks through the crowd and stares down the NXT Champion. Raw was rough this week, folks. Very rough. The opener with Je’Von Evans and Dragon Lee against The Vision was pretty good, and Bron Breakker looked like a complete animal again, but after that this show kept sliding. Danhausen returning the “human monies” to Judgment Day turned into goofy chaos, Oba Femi destroyed JD McDonagh in 53 seconds, and Joe Hendry got one of the loudest reactions of the night. Seth Rollins and Solo Sikoa had a long talking segment that didn’t fully land, even with Jacob Fatu showing up. Chad Gable and Penta beating Rusev and Ethan Page was fun, but then we got even more overbooked nonsense with Liv Morgan, Iyo Sky, Dominik Mysterio, Danhausen and Hendry all tangled together. LA Knight talked big, Jacob Fatu beat him, and the ending felt like another pile of stuff instead of a strong finish. There were a few bright spots, but overall this was a bad episode of Raw. Too messy, too cluttered, too much nonsense, and not enough focus. SmackDown was a mixed bag, but a pretty entertaining one. Gunther opened the show furious, Adam Pearce laid down the stakes, and Cody Rhodes brought the fight immediately. Finn Balor keeps stacking wins and looking like a serious player, which is exactly what SmackDown needs. Tiffany Stratton beat Jacy Jayne in a qualifier that was good, even if I still think Jacy should have won. Nia Jax vs Jade Cargill was basically nothing — ridiculous booking, over in a blink, total waste. Fraxiom vs The War Raiders was tremendous stuff and one of the best matches on the show. Then Cody Rhodes vs Gunther ended in a DQ that actually made sense because Sami Zayn and CM Punk chaos took over and sent the whole thing into a wild closing brawl. TNA Impact gave us a very solid show, folks. Not perfect, but very watchable and it finished hot. The opener with M by Elegance and Rosemary was just okay, Moose vs AJ Francis got cut off by a DQ right when it was getting interesting, and Mustafa Ali’s Order 4 address added some intrigue with Mila Moore joining the group. Ricky Sosa and Bear Bronson had a fun match, Harley Hudson lost again — which is becoming a tradition at this point — and Nic Nemeth spent more time talking down to KC Navarro than acting like a fighting world champion. But then Cedric Alexander vs Fabian Aichner absolutely delivered. Really good X-Division title match, strong interference finish, and a great closing brawl with Ricky Sosa and Leon Slater making the save. Good action, strong energy, and a nice final stretch. AEW Dynamite was one of those shows, folks — some good wrestling, some total clutter, and one unbelievably long Kenny Omega celebration segment that turned into a traffic jam of people, promos, interruptions, and chaos. Cope & Cage retained the AEW Tag Team Titles over Wheeler Yuta and Daniel Garcia in a match that felt flat, but the wild post-match scene with The Bucks, Bang Bang Gang, Death Riders, Finlay, and Jay White gave the crowd something to sink its teeth into. Andrade beat Jake Doyle in a match that didn’t do much for me, while Kyle Fletcher vs. Komander was fun and the post-match angle with Takeshita, Okada, and Brodido brought real energy. Darby Allin beat Brian Cage in a match that felt more like a burial than a battle. And the main event — Mercedes Moné, Megan Bayne, and Lena Kross vs. Willow Nightingale, Hyan, and Maya World — was okay, not terrible, but as a main event? I don’t know, folks. Kenny Omega’s big celebration did set up Kevin Knight as the first challenger, and Ospreay remains a major piece of the Wembley picture, but this show felt overstuffed, messy, and way too pleased with itself. NXT had some very good wrestling this week, folks, and some very weird stuff too. Vanity Project retained the NXT Tag Team Titles over Sean Legacy and Dorian Van Dukes in a damn good opener with a slick Reverse DDT and double foot stomp combo. The Tristan Angels and Shiloh Hill segment? Strange, goofy, not scary at all, and honestly I laughed more than anything. Naraku beat Tate Wilder in a match that was just there, then the post-match chaos with Tony D’Angelo and security turned into a total mess. Zaria looked tremendous in the Women’s North American Title Fatal 4-Way, steamrolling people and finishing Nikkita Lyons with the F5 like an absolute monster. Tavion Heights and Jackson Drake had a solid developmental match, and the main event triple threat with Lola Vice, Kelani Jordan, and Kali Armstrong was excellent stuff. Big action, strong pace, and Lola gets the huge win to become the new #1 contender for Kendal Grey’s NXT Women’s Championship. This Raw had energy, folks. Big energy. Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman opened the show with police officers, restraining-order nonsense, and a lot of talking, but then Oba Femi came out and absolutely destroyed the whole thing. The crowd loved it. Iyo Sky stole a win over Roxanne Perez, then got jumped until Sol Ruca made the save and got wrecked by Raquel Rodriguez. The Vision celebration dragged, but Maxxine got tremendous heat and Otis still has the crowd in his corner. The Bloodline drama? More chaos, more swerves, more chair shots, and honestly, I’m getting tired of it. Bayley and Lyra Valkyria had a strong verbal exchange with a nasty pull-apart feel. Then the gauntlet match delivered: Dominik Mysterio, Joe Hendry, Je’Von Evans, Dragon Lee, Rusev, Chad Gable, Ethan Page — lots of action, too many commercials, but Chad Gable surviving the whole thing was tremendous. And the main-event contract signing between Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins? Excellent. Great lines, great tension, real hatred, and Seth standing tall at the end. SmackDown was a strange show this week, folks. Some important developments, some dead spots, and one absolutely vicious closing angle with Gunther going completely off the rails. CM Punk opened the show as the new Undisputed WWE Champion, Cody Rhodes came out, and just like that we’ve got Punk vs. Cody official for SummerSlam. Big match? Absolutely. Logical process? Kevin Knight vs. Lio Rush for the TNT Title did very little for me, the Death Riders and Ospreay tag was weird, and too much of this episode felt like it was spinning its wheels instead of really building momentum.The biggest thing on the show was Kenny Omega stepping up to accept MJF’s challenge for next week with everything on the line. That’s the hook. That’s the money. Omega vs. MJF with Omega’s future title hopes at stake is the kind of story that immediately gives the next show a real reason to watch.Overall, not a great Dynamite, but the final angle did a lot of heavy lifting. NXT gave us a mixed show this week, folks. Some very good wrestling, some weird booking, and one main event that absolutely delivered. Kendal Grey opened the show as the new NXT Women’s Champion, but the whole cake celebration and interruption parade got a little strange in a hurry. The Vanity Project retained the NXT Tag Team Titles in a fun match, Mason Rook and Jackson Drake tore it up, EK Prosper got another strong win, Jaida Parker handled Karmen Petrovic, and Tony D’Angelo once again found out that Naraku is not done with him.Then the main event came through in a big way. Kelani Jordan vs. Tatum Paxley was a lot of fun and easily one of the best parts of the night. And then, because NXT loves ending with mystery and chaos, we got a post-match attack from some mystery woman that commentary sold like the second coming without even clearly telling us who it was.Overall, a decent NXT with some strong wrestling and some very odd choices. Raw gave us a very strong closing stretch this week, folks. Oba Femi opened the show looking like a star, Brock Lesnar showed up, hit the cheap shot, and now we’ve got Oba vs. Brock inside Hell in a Cell at SummerSlam. That is a massive match. Rey Mysterio and Ethan Page had a fun match, Joe Hendry did his concert routine and got a win over Austin Theory, Iyo Sky and Liv Morgan kept their issue moving, and LA Knight got caught in more Bloodline-style nonsense.The main event segment, though? That was the story. Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins went face-to-face and reminded everybody that when those two are locked in, it still feels huge. The history, the tension, the crowd reaction, the challenge for SummerSlam — it all landed.Overall, this was a solid Raw with a very strong top end. SmackDown gave us a very strong show this week. Not perfect, but a lot to like. Tiffany Stratton and Alexa Bliss opened with a fun tag match, Rey Fenix and Nathan Frazer absolutely tore it up for the AAA Cruiserweight Championship, LA Knight had another tense Bloodline-related segment with Solo Sikoa, and Giulia picked up a nice win before Blake Monroe made a strong debut by laying her out.Danhausen TV happened, which was fine for what it was, Jade Cargill kept wrecking people, and the final face-off involving Cody Rhodes, Gunther, Sami Zayn, Jey Uso, and Oba Femi gave the show a big chaotic ending heading into Night of Champions. The best part of the night for me? Fenix vs. Frazer was fantastic.Overall, this was an easy SmackDown to watch. Good wrestling, a few meaningful developments, and a final segment that made the title picture feel busy in the right way. TNA Impact gave us a very mixed show this week, folks. Some good stuff, some awkward stuff, and one very strong closing angle with Mike Santana and Nic Nemeth. The Hardys kicked things off in full Broken mode, the Knockouts segments were all over the place, AJ Francis squashed poor Manny Lemons, Xia Brookside kept her momentum going, Moose and Eddie Edwards had a strange promo, and then the X-Division six-man absolutely brought the energy.The best parts of this show were the X-Division chaos and the closing Santana-Nemeth angle. The messiest part? That whole Elegance Brand segment, which felt like three different ideas smashed together. Still, Slammiversary feels loaded, and TNA at least gave us enough movement to keep the hype going. AEW Dynamite was a rough one, folks. Some bad matches, some cold segments, and a whole lot of stuff that just did not click. Death Riders vs. Mistico and Brodido did nothing for me, Harley Cameron vs. Marina Shafir was terrible, and way too much of this show felt like filler dressed up as big-time television. Kenny Omega vs. Tony Nese was a complete waste of time, and some of these Forbidden Door build segments still feel way less special than they should.There were a few bright spots. Queen Aminata vs. Red Velvet was fun, the post-match sequence with Swerve, Ospreay, and Daniel Garcia had real intensity, and the big closing brawl at least gave the show some life before the pay-per-view. Mark Briscoe brought energy, MJF brought the usual chaos, and the ending gave you one last push toward the cage match.Overall? Not a good Dynamite, but it did have a couple moments worth talking about. NXT gave us a very solid go-home show this week. Not everything was perfect, but there was a lot to like. Aaron Rourke and Tristan Angels opened with a fun match, Saquon Shugars and Dion Lennox had a decent face-to-face even if it went a little too long, Hank & Tank brought the usual goofy fun, and Keanu Carver absolutely murdered a man after his match. Then things really picked up with Arianna Grace stealing one from Izzi Dame, Dorian Van Dux and Sean Legacy having a hell of a tag match, and The Culling completely falling apart when Niko Vance finally turned on Shawn Spears.Then the closing angle gave us Tony D’Angelo returning, Naraku causing chaos, Mason Rook wanting another shot, Jackson Drake stirring the pot, and the Great American Bash title match staying alive. Overall, a good NXT. Some silly stuff, some strong wrestling, and a lot of movement heading into the weekend. Raw was a solid show this week. Not perfect, but definitely a thumbs-up episode with a strong main event, a good opening segment, and a few angles that actually moved things forward. Oba Femi and Jey Uso opened the show to hype up the King of the Ring Final, and while the entrances dragged a little, the confrontation still did its job. Brie Bella and Paige retained the Women’s Tag Team Titles before Lyra Valkyria shocked everybody by turning on Bayley. Chad Gable tried to apologize to Alpha Academy, but that did not go the way he wanted. Dragon Lee and Ethan Page had a good match, Iyo Sky and Liv Morgan kept their Queen of the Ring issue hot, LA Knight got a win in Bloodline chaos, and The Street Profits won the World Tag Team Titles back in a very strong match.Overall, easy show to watch, good pacing, and some genuinely fun stuff. SmackDown was a strong show, folks. A lot happening, a lot of drama, and some very important developments. Cody Rhodes and Gunther had a fun title match with Sami Zayn as guest referee, but of course Sami completely lost his mind and turned the whole thing into chaos. Ricky Saints and Carmelo Hayes delivered again, Jey Uso beat Je’Von Evans to move on to the King of the Ring Final, and Liv Morgan vs. Charlotte Flair gave us a main event with real story and real stakes.This show had good wrestling, strong angles, and one of the more interesting Sami Zayn developments in a long time. TNA Impact gave us a solid show this week with some good energy, a hot opening segment, a fun six-man tag, and a strong main event. Xia Brookside opened the show getting showered with boos after turning on Lei Ying Lee, and the brawl that followed did a very nice job heating up their Slammiversary match. Mike Santana, Nic Nemeth, and KC Navarro teamed up against Mustafa Ali and Order 4 in a fun opener, but of course the real story was the post-match chaos that pushed Santana and Nemeth even further toward war.We also got The King’s Speech setting up more Slammiversary drama in the X-Division scene, Ricky Sosa picking up a nice win, Indi Hartwell battling Elayna Black, and a good main event with The Hardys and Moose against The System. Then Santana came back out at the end to call Nic Nemeth exactly what he thinks he is, and the crowd was more than happy to join in.Overall, enjoyable show, easy watch, good Slammiversary build. AEW Dynamite was a very mixed show, folks. Some very good stuff, some total nonsense, and one absolutely tremendous face-to-face between Will Ospreay and Swerve Strickland that did a lot of heavy lifting for the whole night. Kenny Omega vs. Tony Nese was a complete waste of time, the Omega and Zack Sabre Jr. interaction should have been much bigger, and that giant Team MJF vs. Team Briscoe match gave away way too much of the same chaos we’re supposed to pay to see later.But credit where it’s due: Death Riders vs. Brodido was fun, Mercedes Moné vs. Hazuki was very strong, and Ospreay vs. Swerve on the microphone was the kind of serious, heated segment AEW needs a lot more of. That was the standout. Big-time energy, real stakes, and two guys sounding like stars.Overall, not a bad show, but definitely one of those Dynamites where the best parts made the weaker parts more frustrating. NXT gave us a strong show this week, especially when it came to the women’s division. Zaria opened the night as the new NXT Women’s North American Champion and finally felt like a real deal player, not somebody standing in somebody else’s shadow. The opening segment was the usual parade of interruptions, but it did set up a very good main event. Tavion Heights got a solid win, Thea Hail and Izzi Dame had a fun Speed tournament match, Arianna Grace kept being one of the sneakiest heels on the show, and Nattie Neidhart vs. Jaida Parker absolutely delivered.Then the main event gave us Kelani Jordan & Zaria vs. Lola Vice & Kendal Grey, and Lola pinning Zaria made a very clear statement about who still runs the top of this division. Overall, this was a very enjoyable NXT.
