Colonel Lowell Bell is considered a 2nd generation Tuskegee Airmen. He graduated from the Tuskegee Institute and went into the Air Force in 1954. Because the "Tuskegee experiment" ended in 1949, Colonel Bell isn't sure he should be called a 2nd generation Tuskegee Airmen.
