“Never minimize or crush a person.” “Join me at your leisure.” Wild Wild West Steampunk Convention 2017 was a pleasure this year! Wild Wild West Steampunk Convention 6 is America's first and only Steampunk convention and festival that takes place in a western-themed town. After incredibly successful events in 2011, 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016 we're very excited to make this year's convention larger then ever before! Steampunk is a subgenre of science fiction or science fantasy that incorporates technology and aesthetic designs inspired by 19th-century industrial steam-powered machinery. Steampunk perhaps most recognizably features anachronistic technologies or retro-futuristic inventions as people in the 19th century might have envisioned them, and is likewise rooted in the era's perspective on fashion, culture, architectural style, and art.[citation needed] Such technology may include fictional machines like those found in the works of H. G. Wells and Jules Verne, or of the modern authors Philip Pullman, Scott Westerfeld, Stephen Hunt, and China Miéville. Etiquette is a code of behavior that delineates expectations for social behavior according to contemporary conventional norms within a society, social class, or group.   Don’t be a Gatekeeper in life! https://www.wildwestcon.com/ https://www.facebook.com/MadameAskew/
