Wyndham Clark Dominates BMW Championship | St. Louis News

Wyndham Clark capped off a dramatic BMW Championship with a clutch three-shot victory, securing his third win of the year—including a major and a playoff—and cementing his player-of-the-year bid. Despite battling bogeys and shaky form, he rallied with a pivotal birdie on the 16th and another on the final hole to edge out Rory McIlroy, who faltered on the 17th. Patrick Cantlay surged into second after a gritty finish, while Gary Woodland made a triumphant return to the Tour Championship for the first time since 2019, tying for fourth after overcoming a tough stretch. Clark’s consistency and big-tournament dominance signal a breakout season—and a proud turnaround from last year’s struggles.
