The Company has two segments. The Agriculture segment offers animal nutrition products to the agricultural market; and seeds, fertilizers, and agricultural chemicals to arable and grassland farmers, as well as markets grains. The Specialist Agricultural Merchanting segment supplies a range of specialist products to farmers, smallholders and pet owners. It supplies feeds and nutrition products for a number of sectors including, dairy, beef, sheep, pig and poultry, with a range of products to suit the needs of individual farmers. It is a producer of cereal seeds and a range of grass seed mixtures in the United Kingdom. It supplies fertilizer in the United Kingdom. Its subsidiaries include Glasson Group (Lancaster) Limited, Glasson Grain Limited, Wynnstay (Agricultural Supplies) Limited, Youngs Animal Feeds Limited, GrainLink Limited and Tamar Milling Limited (Tamar).
