(WZBC) Ep. 66 (10/26/22): NBA 2022-23 Season Predictions, Giants & Bruins, Bogaerts-Devers, BC-UConn Football Preview, Heavy Faith in UMaine Football, Halloween Candy Power Rankings

In this second episode of a back-to-back, Joey gives his predictions for the 2022-2023 NBA Season with a forecast of every team’s win-loss record, who will win every player award and which teams will match up in the Eastern & Western Conference Finals and NBA Finals. After that, Joey is joined by the Boston sports wizard Paul for an in-depth look at how the New York Giants have been playing so far and how the impact of coaching can make a huge difference on a football team. They touch on the recent 5-0 victory for BC hockey over UNH and praise BC men’s basketball coach Earl Grant for the great work he did in Year 1. Then, the sports guru Mike Hurley joins them on the hot seat and comes on to discuss: whether or not the Red Sox will pay Xander Bogaerts and Rafael Devers, if Mac Jones deserves to start over Bailey Zappe, how the Bruins have performed early in the season, and how BC football will play this weekend at UConn. They dive into their support of UMaine football and how much confidence they have in the program. At the end, they provide their top three favorite Boston athletes of all-time and their Halloween Candy Power Rankings.
