xi. The "S" Word, with Karen Yates of Wild & Sublime

Let's talk about sex! This week, I am joined by Karen Yates of the Wild & Sublime podcast (formerly live show in Chicago) for an episode that is an important coming-of-age moment for myself as a podcaster. Karen is used to talking about the subject in her capacity as a somatic sex educator ("somatic" meaning, "of the body"), and her compassion and great knowledge make for a tremendously insightful discussion. We talk about my first experiences encountering a wide variety of gender identities and expressions, what makes for good communication in a relationship, and the benefits of yoga, tantra, and candles for one's love life and life in general. This is me as vulnerable as I've ever been as a podcaster, which sure is something, but it's also about relationships in general and how we see our human experience!
