有一种用桶耍的把戏，桶的大小可放进一个升，没有底，中间是空的，跟通常耍把戏用的桶一样。耍把戏的人把两张席子铺在街上，把一个空的升放进桶里。一会儿取出来，就有满满一升米，再把米倒在席子上。如此不断地用升取米、倒下，顷刻间，两张席上都满了。然后再用升把席上的米一一量进桶里，完了后一举桶，仍然是空的。
