保罗·艾吕雅(1895—1952),法国超现实主义诗人。出版诗集数十本保罗·艾吕雅是对两次大战之间的那几代诗人产生过最深刻、最大影响的诗人之一。他的一首题为《自由》的诗是法国最著名的诗歌之一。这首“自由”，是保罗艾吕雅写在纳粹统治法国的1942年。当时法国抵抗运动非常艰难，英军用飞机从阿尔及利亚出发，在法国上空撒下印有这首诗的传单，激励法国的抵抗战士。
