Xiao Qian: China’s effort on bridging the Global AI Divide

The UN General Assembly recently adopted China-proposed resolution to enhance international cooperation on AI capacity-building.China being a global technology and AI leader, its stance on global AI governance has drawn wide attention from across the world.How to find a balance between AI development and safety concerns?How to stimulate private enterprises to innovate, and at the same time, to effectively regulate them?What does capacity building of AI require, especially for developing countries?
