中国艺术研究院艺术创作院艺术家、当代诗人、书画家汪国真，因病医治无效于2015年4月26日凌晨两点十分在302医院去世，享年59岁。汪国真1956年生于北京，祖籍福建厦门，毕业于暨南大学中文系。在上世纪90年代掀起一股“汪国真热”，其诗句“既然选择了远方，便只顾风雨兼程”，“没有比脚更长的路，没有比人更高的山”等影响了整整一代人。
