新疆天山天池

天山天池，位于新疆乌鲁木齐东北方，传说是西王母的仙界瑶池。它是是冰川与神话共同雕琢的自然奇迹。远古冰川侵蚀出巨坑，千年雪水汇聚成湖，造就了这片海拔1910米、最深处达105米的"天空之镜"。湖畔的"定海神针"古榆树，据说是西王母的发簪所化。长白山也有天池，而它是由火山所成就；而天山的天池是由冰川所成就，正好是一冰一火。
