什么是心理学？心理学所研究的内容无比广泛，跨越了多个自然学科和社会学科，但是如果要想给它下一个定义，却无比的困难。目前，我们将心理学定义为研究人类外在行为与内在心理过程的科学，如果看现在心理学研究的内容，我们可以看到几乎涉及人类的一切，感觉，知觉，行为，思维，情感，人格，语言，记忆，决策，动机等等。其中大部分内容都能在上千年的东西方哲学中找到人们各种思想研究的成果。从这个角度来说，心理学应该有至少上千年的历史。
