加拿大小学每年圣诞节的保留节目就是Secret Santa。做法就是每个人写出他／她想要的圣诞礼物，列成一个表格。然后班里每个同学抽签，抽到哪个同学的名字，就负责给那个同学买他／她想要的礼物。收到礼物的人并不知道是谁给他／她准备的，所以就是Secret Santa。这是个圣诞节送礼物的好办法。首先确保了班里每个人都会收到礼物。其次避免了想送礼物给同学的人需要准备太多份数的礼物。也逼迫那些不想送礼物的懒同学行动起来。
