Story textFor people to live on Mars, they need to grow their own food. Scientists in the Netherlands are studying how to do that. They are using a method called "intercropping." With this method, different plants like tomatoes, peas, and carrots grow together. This method helps the tomatoes grow much better and produce more quantities of bigger fruits. The peas and carrots did not grow better though (While other plants haven't grown as well) . This research is new and could help find the best way to farm on Mars. Many people think this is very cool, while other people think that humans will never live on Mars anyways.
