雅思口语P2 Describe a time you borrowed something from your friends or family(文字版)

from 雅思口语IELTS English2026 · host 雅思口语家森Jason

Mention about the topic, a time that I borrowed a laptop from my good friend comes to my mind. That was about a couple of weeks ago when I was staying focused on my final examinations, I came across a problem that my computer went wrong. The point was that I had to get well prepared for my exam by it. Apparently, I borrowed a laptop because of this. At the beginning it was a bit challenging to fit with a new laptop, you know, a totally different system and size. It was rather expensive I could say, 12 thousands or something, I have never used that sort of laptop before, honestly. I tried everything that I could, seriously. My best friend, formally named Jason certainly gave me a hand. He showed me how to use this laptop wisely after lending it to me. In the meantime, we spent a whole afternoon together. What I am trying to say is that he sacrificed something of freedom to help me out. I was so moved, you know. At that very moment, I got the help from best friend. His support could be like a big fortune to me. That is it.
