Karen is a veterinary surgeon who got the idea of Hope Haven after feeling upset by the number of unwanted ducks, pigs and roosters being surrendered at the shelter where she worked. And the big news is that Karen will be expanding in Harmony. She'll still keep the Wexford location but the Harmony location will allow her to get more animals that she can rescue. She wants to continue the education aspect of the sanctuary. There are plenty of tours and events and Karen would love to see you at the farm! There are volunteering opportunities available and donations are always welcome.
