Yankees Add Schreiber, Royals Rebuild | Kansas City Royals News

The Yankees snagged reliever John Schreiber off waivers from the Royals for a modest $3.7M, adding depth to their bullpen while the Royals clear space to develop younger arms like Nate Pearson and Connor Thomas. Schreiber, who posted a 3.65 ERA in 55 games this season and was key in KC’s 2024 playoff run, excels against right-handed batters — a perfect fit for the Yanks’ needs. His contract ends after this year, making it a low-risk, high-reward move for both teams. Listen in comfort:Get a discount on a Soli Pillow: http://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
