The Boldness is extremely honoured to interview Uncle Paul one of the Ambassadors for  2024 International Day of Disability.   In Uncle Paul's words  About being a 2024 Ambassador for International Day of People with DisabilityTo be a proud Indigenous man with disability as an Ambassador for International Day of People with Disability, I see it as an opportunity for a younger mob to see, “here’s someone that's doing all right”. I grew up in a tin shack and now living here and like, “here's someone that's doing stuff and putting back in the community”. Hopefully they can see themselves as a person with disability to be able to make an incredible contribution to community and have a voice and to be proud of the barriers that they overcome in their everyday life, navigating a world that's not designed for someone with a disability and not always designed for First Nations people.
