Yasmine Kenawi: Empire Style of Mind

She has assisted top New York stylists including, Erin Walsh, Rachael Wang, and Sandy Armeni. Her celebrity styling work includes the likes of Anne Hathaway, Mark Ruffalo, Adriana Lima, and Kate Upton. Her branded projects include working with Victoria’s Secret, Neiman Marcus, and NARS. She has dressed Arab celebrities including Felukah, Asmaa Galal, Salma Abu Deif, Lara Scandar, Yosra El Lozy, Samira Said, and most recently, Cynthia Khalifeh. Her work has been featured in Vogue Arabia, Harper’s Bazaar Arabia, Elle Arabia, Teen Vogue, and Elle USA. We speak about her journey studying and working in New York City, living across the world between MENA and the United States, her transition into styling after studying fashion buying at FIT, and how her return to Cairo feels like a homecoming and place of opportunity. Support the show
