Send us a text and chime in!As the 2026 monsoon season approaches, local emergency officials are urging residents to prepare for increased storm activity and sudden flooding risks. The Arizona monsoon season officially begins on June 15th and runs through September 30th. Monsoon thunderstorms typically produce half of the annual precipitation for central and northern Arizona. Because these storms develop rapidly, they can cause severe property damage and a sudden onset of flash flooding.
