Send us a text and chime in!Following significant monsoon moisture and a reduced risk of wildfire, Yavapai County will lift its county-wide fire ban effective Tuesday, July 21, 2026, at 8:00 a.m. The ban is being lifted for all Yavapai County's fire zones (1-5), which include the following cities and towns: Prescott, Prescott Valley, Dewey-Humboldt, Mayer, Cordes Junction, Black Canyon City, Congress, North Wickenburg, Peeples Valley, Yarnell, Wilhoit, Cottonwood, Sedona, Camp Verde, and all unincorporated areas. This decision was made in coordination with our regional partners, including the Prescott National Forest, Coconino National Forest, Tonto National Forest, and the Arizona Department of Forestry and Fire Management...
