Yeah Uh Huh Episode 33 - The Legacy of JFK with Will Cooper

Will Cooper returns to the show to help us with our Kennedy trilogy of podcasts.  Two of three of these shows are devoted to the devastating loss to our country on Nov. 22, 1963.  But we thought it very important to cover what the 35th president of our country actually achieved during his remarkable, televised administration. We talk about the culturally significant 1960 debate with Richard Nixon,  the Bay of Pigs Invasion and the terrifying Cuban Missile Crisis,  during which the World War 2 hero stared down the threat of thermonuclear war with the Soviet Union and ensure peace at a time when noone took it for granted.  Together with our co-host from California,  Aaron,  we put partisan politics aside to show that history will remember JFK as much than a victim of a heinous murder,  but a flawed man of great courage and audacity whose courage and influence informs us as we confront the problems of our own time.
