Year A, Proper 18

Well, friends, we gave it a valiant effort this week. We recorded our conversation Tuesday night, but technology failed us, and only Marissa's side of the conversation recorded. So we tried again on Thursday, and what do you know, half of it failed again. We surrender. Please enjoy our conversation from three years ago. We will get our tech stuff sorted and be back next week! In this episode, we consider the readings for Proper 18, Year A: Exodus 12:1-14 & Psalm 149; Ezekiel 33:7-11 & Psalm 119:33-40; Romans 13:8-14; Matthew 18:15-20. We discuss the institution of the Passover meal, Ezekiel's commissioning as a watchman, Paul's exhortation to love one another, and Jesus' teaching on calling other individuals to repentance.
